Please Pray for my Daughter Alice Maria Deepika (14 years). She left my house May 2nd and has not returned home. We have only one daughter and one son. A few days ago there was a little boy (about 13) that was riding his bike without a helmet. He decided to cross the street in front of my house but he did not look first. There was a volkswagen bus that was coming up the street and did not see him. The bus hit and threw the boy off his bike. He landed on his head. I'm not sure if he is alive or not, but I know he was still alive at the scene, but was not responding. I pray that if he is alive, that he will have minimal or no brain damage and I pray for God to give him and his foster family all the strength and faith and hope they need. Thank You. ~Lindsay, CA

I am asking for prayers for our 23 year old daughter-in-law. She is having surgery today to remove what is believed to be a fatty tumor on her back. The surgeon said the tumor is about 15 cm in size but it has been growing. This is rather large. I pray it has not grown around her ribs and that there will be no complications. She is scared because she hasn't been in the hospital before. Also, please give her and our son the desire to return to the church - to become faithful and prayerful servants for God. I live this passage: 'Through Christ all things are possible'. I believe all things will work out for our good. God Bless You and thanks for the prayers.

I am asking for prayers for three dear friends, all touched by cancer. RON underwent surgery on June 12th to remove a large malignant tumor and 60% of his liver. He’s still recovering from the surgery and the prognosis so far is good. However, he has other conditions that make it likely the cancer will return in less than 5 years. Please pray that he goes into remission after this surgery and that any more occurrences are caught early enough to be treated. SANDRA has inoperable tumors on her brain. She suffered through a year of chemotherapy and just before the twelfth and final treatment (she has had her lifetime allotment of chemo), she showed no growth in the tumor. (We had a prayer circle going for her) That was in December 2007. Unfortunately, she is now experiencing headaches painful enough that she cannot sleep and is naturally afraid of what this means. She also has a developmentally disabled daughter in her 30s and is her primary care-giver. Please pray for another miracle for Sandra that she may continue to care for Suzanne and others in her family. SISTER ANNE THERESE, whose order does pastoral care in a nursing home and prays for so many people, is herself a cancer survivor. After emergency surgery and semi-weekly chemo and radiation treatments, she is free from uterine cancer. Please pray for her continued good health so that she may continue to do God’s work with the Sisters of the Holy Spirit. Thank you so much! Donna.

I am not able to make the rosaries, but send them to the places you provided me. My prayer of supplication relates to behaviors I have or had which cause me to be considered insane. The plea Blessed Mother is for all the laughter, discussion and gossip to end about me (& immediate family). That it continues even after past perceived foolishness or bad choices is very hurtful, demeaning and demoralizing. My confidence, self-esteem and belief in myself has not only been destroyed. It has diminished, maybe I should say been erased. V

I'd like to request prayers for my sisters' brother-in-law, Rich, who is suffering with cancer.....He had stomach cancer 2 years ago, went through chemo and radiation, and had a section of his stomach removed in surgery.....he has been recently diagnosed with metastasis to the liver and pancreas and is seeking further consultations with other oncologist to see if there is anything else that can be done for him....He is unable to each very much, and is looking into having a PEG tube placed to deliver nutrition directly his body, or perhaps IV hyper alimentation if a PEG tube is not possible for him.....His wife, Mary, is also a cancer survivor....she had breast cancer and has recovered and is in remission at this time....Rich is in his mid to late 60's and has children and grandchildren....He has always had a positive and energetic outlook on his cancer diagnosis, at times you would never have known that he was suffering with cancer.....Please keep him in your prayers for a quality life.... Please help us pray for my dear friend's daughter, Patty, her husband Rich and their baby to be born the beginning of June. Her baby is due soon but she was informed the baby has many defects including a heart outside of the body. They must take the baby a few weeks before it is due. It will be life-flighted to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh in an attempt to save its life. She will not see the baby at this time of its birth. It needs a heart transplant first off. It is Patty's second child after a very handsome and healthy boy, age of 19 months. Her and Rich are devastated by this terrible news. Would like to request a prayer for my friend's mother Dora Myers who just had quadruple heart bypass surgery...she is very weak along with her dialysis three times a week. I have prayed for St. Michael to touch her for her to recover and heal...but I am sure the more love and support she can receive from all the lovely people out there the better off she will be...every week I have gotten to go to our church (Our Lady of Good Hope, Ohio) I prayed for her and also lighted a candle for her then afterwards I have gotten to speak to her and she is getting better, but she misses her family since only one of her four children are living in the same state close to her. Her two youngest daughters just went to visit her in Texas for two weeks after her surgery and they are back home now. There is a niece getting married in August and it would be a great blessing for her to see the commencement in person! in god's name bless all of you and your families!!! thanks so much. D

Please pray for my brother in law, Fr. Donald Pousson, who will have surgery for an aneurysm just below the stomach next to the liver. It's a bad one! He will have surgery and will be hospitalized for at least 10 days and 4-5 days of that will be intensive care. Please pray for Fr. Larry Frederick's mom who is recovering and is going through therapy. She is my mom's age. He is a dear friend of many years. Please pray for my 93 yr old mom who is in a nursing home recovering from a fall she had after having a serious stroke. Thank God my sister and her daughter are RNs and they stay on top of things. Pray for my sister (the RN) who is home ill. Please pray for all of her patients, for my niece's patients, for my granddaughter-in-law (also an RN)'s patients. Please pray for all whom my brother and his wife minister to when they bring communion to nursing homes. Please help us in thanking God that my sister's grandson was born ok. Both mother and child were in danger. Please pray for my oldest granddaughter who is pregnant. They were problems initially. The first child she delivered didn't have enough oxygen when she was born. Many people send prayer intentions in email or they call with prayer intentions. Also, when customers bring the rose petals for me to make roses, some confide prayer requests...too many to mention here and some too private. So please pray for all of these. Thank you Blessed Mother for all of the things that are of God that I do not recognize and take for granted. I am blessed in a very special way and have so much to be thankful for. Anelu

Blessed Mother, please intercede in pray for my great niece, Shalee. She's now 14 years old and has been mentally abused by her mother since she was in kindergarten. Numerous reports to Child Protective Services have been made by different people, however, since there are no bruises, broken bones, etc., they've always let her case "slip through the cracks." Her mother "doctor shopped" until she found a doctor over 100 miles from their home who would put Shalee on the psychotrophic drugs she wanted for her. At age 14, Shalee is currently taking a combination of the following medications: Lithium, Topomax, Geodon and Seroquel in multiple amounts each day. Her mother always talks to the doctors and counselors before they talk to the child. She sets her up as being a "problem child." Now, she is. She's a child who's always under the influence of drugs. Until she was in the 4th grade she was an honor student, talented, beautiful and charming. Even though members of the family and close family friends have tried to convince the caseworkers that her mother is the root of her problems, they just don't "get it." Please pray for Shalee. We're sol afraid of what will become of her. Her mother has also told the child she should've had an abortion or let her be adopted by strangers, she actually wrote that in a letter to Shalee. I have the letter. Also, her mother has told her when she turns 18, she's "out the door." Holy Mother, we believe in the miracles prayer brings. Thank you for hearing our prayers.

Please pray for my friend who has prostrate cancer. It is not terminal but he is a diabetic heart patient and he is very delicate physically. He is undergoing radiation until July 2008. The cancer has not spread to his bones and it is not spreading so he will be a survivor if everything goes right. Also pray for my friend who is adopted . She has high blood pressure and knows very little about her medical history . She has trouble walking and uses a walker. She was hit by a car but was not harmed. The walker was hit but she is safe. She prays everyday but she needs your prayers. She works for the disabled. Also pray for my friends in Sri Lanka being threatened by bomb attacks during a civil war . A bomb came very close to my friend but he is still alive. Thank the Santo Nino for protecting him from all spiritual and bodily harm that I asked for when I was visiting Sri Lanka last. Tracy, our old daycare provider, had back surgery a week and half ago but fell ill on Friday when she was rushed to the hospital. She is now on a ventilator and fighting for her life. The reason is a staph infection. She had surgery and they think they got all of it but she is not out of the woods yet. She is hooked up to 14 machines that are trying to keep her going. She has 4 kids at home and 2 were her brother's kids whom she adopted after her brother died. She is all they have. Thank you. CO

The prioress (Sr R) has ovarian cancer which has grown an inch withing the past month. Sr M is my best friend, and I'm very concerned about her, too. The rest of the community is also struggling, trying to deal with all the stressors. Blessed Mother, please grant the peace and love of your presence to my friends. I have 2 close friends whose husbands are both very ill. Jim needs a double lung transplant and will be going on the donar list in the next week or so, the other is Dave who is dying of bladder cancer, the doctors have said there is nothing more that can be done, but he begged and was accepted into another treatment session. My daughter, Kelsey, was recently diagnosed with anorexia and currently is in a residential treatment center. They have been able to stabilize her and she is starting to pick up weight, but she still insists that when she comes home that she will start restricting her food again. Kelsey is 13 years old, is a straight A student, loves to tap dance and wants to be an investigator. She's bright, funny and lovable, all of which she doesn't believe. She has lost faith in her friends, her family and her religion. Our insurance is currently taking care of the bills, but now after a month the insurance feels that because she has reached 90 % of her body weight, that she can step down from the residential treatment. She's not ready for this and if she is allowed to do so, she will eventually be back at the treatment center. We're asking for your prayers for our daughter that she can be helped and gain a full recovery.

Oh Blessed Mother, I ask your intercession for my father who has been diagnosed with un-treatable liver cancer and doesn't have much time. He took such loving care of my mother during her six year battle with Parkinson's disease that this seems exceptionally unfair. We have been praying day and night to you for three months for a miracle: for the cancer to be cured, for all tumors to disappear and for him to be brought to perfect health. I know in your divine wisdom you will give us the aid which will beneficial to all of our souls, though it may not be the answer we are looking for. I thank you in advance for your protection and I will never stop loving and adoring you. Our prayers of Thanksgiving- Once the Lord took my husband's twin brother (3/17) after 3.5 yrs of suffering with renal cell carcinoma the family has found peace and is working through the grief. Our 14 yr old car ran like a top through clear weather to drive 1100 miles! We celebrated Tom's life for 8 days because of the delays in getting the church during the Easter weekend. Tom's suffering and faith was so remarkable the Pastor's sermon recounted several visits he had with Tom in his times of physical decline. We had a peaceful, safe drive home and have joined a church study group about "Knowing God's Will". Mary's hands have brought us through!

Just received news that my daughter has been laid off from her job of 2 3/4 years. The Australian company hired her to start the Canadian branch of their company. She has been a faithful and loyal employee. But as the company tries to broaden in the international/global market, it is restructuring and letting my daughter go, to try and save money by outsourcing or contracting out her job duties. We ask for prayers on her behalf that God may bring her a new job that will bless her life and lead her to greater graces for her spiritual and temporal well-being, so that she may not only receive income to pay for her rent, food, bills, etc but she may be touched by individuals who will help her to grow in the Christian life and her true calling/vocation. Please pray for my brother, Stanley, who is in the hospital with internal bleeding. He has just come a long way from a fight with esophageal cancer. I pray they can find the source of bleeding and stop it. He is in a very weak state from the loss of a large amount of blood. His devotion to our Blessed Mother has pulled him through many a rough time. I want to pray for all the people who took the time to donate their blood to help people like my brother. Finally, please pray for my Grand-daughter, Angela, who is suffering from chronic pain in her legs from a back injury. She has a crushed nerve that did not heal properly.

Please pray for me to find a good job soon. I lost my job right before Thanksgiving and haven't been successful in finding a new one. I was there for nine years and that is making it hard to find a new one. The industry I was in isn't the industry with the jobs now and they want someone at my level with industry specific accounting. My husband lost his retail job 3 years ago after 19 years with the same company. It took him 6 months to find a job and he had to take a huge cut in pay. We are having financial issues adjusting to the decrease pay and increase travel. My lost in jobs is just hurting the family financially and emotionally right now. (I also lost my sister, only 43, to breast cancer and my best friend, 45, to breast cancer.) I pray for both of us to find the right job that matches our talents and to heal from the set backs. She is in a nursing home trying to regain her strength and learn to walk again so we can bring her home to be with Dad and take care of her there. Please pray for my friend, Mary, who had a stroke and is not improving much. She is unable to talk and is partially paralyzed on her left side. She had the stroke about a month ago and is still not able to communicate. She can write a little, but it is not very legible. Also please pray for me. I had a colostomy three years ago. My diverticulitis ruptured and sent poison thru my system. I had 2 major surgerys in a week. I was hospitalized for 3 months. I had not recovered from that when my colon became inflamed and I developed ulcerative colitis. They were unable to reverse the colostomy. I have been hospitilized 6 times since then with other problems. Three weeks ago I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart failure and I am allergic to the medication. They gave me a diuretic which is taking the potassium out of
